The Precinct Has Been Delayed to Fall 2024

With the initial declaration of The Precinct last year, avid gamers were intrigued by the concept of a new-age, top-down action commotion sparked by GTA classics, with the twist of assuming the role of a fresh police officer rather than a felon. However, as the planned release date of the anticipated title by Fallen Tree Games and Kwalee draws near, both parties confirmed that there will be a slight postponement in the game’s release.

Initially intended to be launched on August 15, Fallen Tree Games relayed that The Precinct's debut will now be during autumn of this year. The extra time would be utilized to refine gameplay, enhance the gaming aesthetics, and iron out any glitches.

In their announcement regarding the delay, Fallen Tree Games stated that their objective has forever been to actualize the finest conceivable version of The Precinct. They expressed their commitment to deliver a high-quality, interactive, and engaging gameplay experience, given their resources.

They explained that after serious discussions with the collective, including their publisher Kwalee, they unanimously concurred that, considering the time constraint, their desired outcome might not be feasible by August 15. Therefore, they reluctantly pushed back the release date of The Precinct to Fall 2024.

They believe that the extra duration will allow them to perfect the gameplay, rectify remaining software glitches, and ultimately offer the flawless gameplay experience that they aimed for during the initial development of The Precinct.

Fallen Tree Games and Kwalee also unveiled a fresh trailer featuring updated gameplay footage coinciding with the game's delay announcement.

Whenever The Precinct is ultimately released, it will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
