Magnifying Glass + Flashlight is a free app that combines a magnifier and LED torch light for comfortable reading of any texts. Do you need to read a tiny label on a package or a menu in a restaurant written in small print? Use Magnifying Glass + Flashlight for such purposes.

The app interface is as simple as possible and very convenient to use. When you start it, the camera of your device immediately turns on on the main screen. At the bottom of the display, you will find buttons for the main functions, and in the upper left corner is the menu of advanced settings.

The name of the app speaks for itself. Magnifying Glass + Flashlight uses the camera of your device, so be sure to allow the app access to the camera and multimedia. By default, there is a mode in which both the magnifying glass and the flashlight are on. However, if you wish, you can use them individually. Turn them off directly on the main screen or in the menu on the mode section. Additionally, in the settings, you can enable an option that will automatically turn on the flashlight in low light conditions. 

Changing the brightness and scale of Magnifying Glass + Flashlight is even easier. You do not even have to go into the app settings. If you need to zoom in or out, simply swipe up or down the screen accordingly. To increase or decrease the brightness, swipe left or right. And if you need to take a picture of some inscription, just touch the screen with your finger and hold it for a bit. The photo will be saved in the library of your device. By the way, if necessary, you can also turn on the front camera. 

Usability 7/10 

The app provides excellent functionality; everything you need for a quick and comfortable reading of small labels. The camera focuses well on the text and does not blur it. 

However, there are some minor disadvantages in the app. So, there is no way to change the path of saving pictures. And with every touch of the menu buttons, you hear a soft click. You cannot change the sound or lower / increase its volume directly in the app — only the overall volume on the device. 

And yet, since this app can be downloaded for free, there is advertising here. Unfortunately, it appears at the wrong time, and you can immediately be redirected to the application store of your device. To temporarily disable ads (for 30 days), you can share the app on Twitter. If you want to get rid of it completely, get the Pro version.

Magnifying Glass + Flashlight is compatible with most modern smartphones and tablets. If you are Apple products owner (iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch), the operating system of your device should be at least 10.0. Android devices should have Android 4.1 or later. Windows Phones users need to make sure that the device system is not lower than Windows 8 Mobile.

It is not overloaded with unnecessary functions, so you can quickly use it anywhere and in any situation.
